• Itimad-ud-Daulah's Tomb
Country's first tomb made completely out of marble, Itmad-Ud-Daulah was built by Nur Jahan, wife of the Mughal Emperor Jahangir. It was constructed in the memory of her father Mirza Ghiyas. Influenced by Islamic architecture, the monument's towers exhibit Persian touch. The wall paintings present inside are very beautiful. • Mehtab Bagh

• Guru Ka Tal
It's a gurudwara dedicated to the ninth Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. The gurudwara was built at the location where Guru Tegh Bahadur surrendered to Aurangzeb and laid down his arms. It was built in 1610, featuring 12 towers in the Tal, out of which only 8 towers exist. Initially, the Tal was a reservoir and was used for irrigation purposes during the dry season. The reservoir was decorated with stone carvings when the gurudwara was constructed. This site attracts thousands of visitors, both Indian and Foreigners every year.
• Sur Sarovar Bird Sanctuary
Also known as Keetham Lake, Sur Sarovar Bird Sanctuary was established in 1991. The sanctuary is spread over an area of 7.97 sq km, comprising a large lake covering an area of 2.25 sq km. The lake is a retreat for many migratory and residential birds. The area provides shelter to more than 165 bird species. The entire lake is covered with macrophytic vegetation during the summer season and supports wide range of avifauna during winters. Purple heron, paddy bird, grey heron and many other aquatic birds can be spotted here. This is one among the amazing tourist places one should not miss visiting.
