• Amer Fort
The fort is located in Amer which is around 11 km from the center of the city of Jaipur. It was constructed by Raja Mansingh in 1592. • Nahargarh Fort
Also, known as 'Tiger Fort', this is an ideal place to visit. It is located on the rocky ridge of the Aravali Hills range giving a splendid view of Jaipur's magnificent landscape. The fort was built in 1734 by Raja Jai Singh II and was initially named as Sudarshangarh. At night, when the whole city of Jaipur is lit up, Nahargarh Fort provides the most radiant view of the city. • Ram Bagh Palace
It was the residence of the Maharajas once but now serves as one of the best hotels worldwide. Rambagh Palace was a garden house for the wet nurse of Prince Ram Singh but later in 1887, it was transformed into a hunting lodge for the Maharajas and their royal guests. In 1957, the palace was again converted into a five-star hotel by Taj Group of Hotels.
• Jal Mahal
Jal Mahal or Water Palace is located in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake. It is an amalgamation of both Rajput and Mughal styles of architecture. Jal Mahal is a five storey building built in red sandstone, out of which four stories remain underwater when the lake is filled. This offers a breathtaking view of the palace which makes it one of the most important tourist places in Jaipur.
