Amer Fort
The fort is located in Amer which is around 11 km from the center of the city of Jaipur. It was constructed by Raja Mansingh in 1592. Hawa Mahal
Also, known as Palace of the Winds, Hawa Mahal is unquestionably one of the most important places to visit in Jaipur. The five storey architecture is in the form of a honeycomb. This unique building has 953 small windows known as Jharokhas. The palace depicts the crown of the Hindu God 'Lord Krishna'. Surprisingly, this five storey building does not have steps to reach upper floors. One should also visit the archaeological museum in Hawa Mahal during his/her visit.

City Palace

Jantar Mantar
Constructed by Raja Jai Singh II, Jantar Mantar literally means 'calculation instrument'. It is ranked among the largest observatories of the world. Each structure at the Jantar Mantar observatory has a unique astronomical importance. In total, there are 14 structures which measure time, track stars and forecast eclipses. The huge Samrat Yantra sundial is the most impressive one. The various astrological instruments attract architects and astronomers in large numbers from all parts of the world. Jaigarh Fort
This huge fort was built in 1726 and holds great appeal for military lovers. Standing on a hilltop, the world's largest cannon on wheels is positioned here. It has 20 feet long barrel and pumped in the cannon for a single shot. It is one of the preserved military structures of India. This is one among the amazing tourist places; one should not miss.

Nahargarh Fort
Also, known as 'Tiger Fort', this is an ideal place to visit. It is located on the rocky ridge of the Aravali Hills range giving a splendid view of Jaipur's magnificent landscape. The fort was built in 1734 by Raja Jai Singh II and was initially named as Sudarshangarh. At night, when the whole city of Jaipur is lit up, Nahargarh Fort provides the most radiant view of the city. It is one of the outstanding places of Jaipur to visit.

Ram Bagh Palace
It was the residence of the Maharajas once but now serves as one of the best hotels worldwide. Rambagh Palace was a garden house for the wet nurse of Prince Ram Singh but later in 1887, it was transformed into a hunting lodge for the Maharajas and their royal guests. In 1957, the palace was again converted into a five-star hotel by Taj Group of Hotels.

Jal Mahal
Jal Mahal or Water Palace is located in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake. It is an amalgamation of both Rajput and Mughal styles of architecture. Jal Mahal is a five storey building built in red sandstone, out of which four stories remain underwater when the lake is filled. This offers a breathtaking view of the palace which makes it one of the most important tourist places in Jaipur.
