Detailed Description

  • GetMeCab gives you the chance to get away from the stressful life and enjoy a bit with us for a tour to Agra from Delhi. It is a 3 days and 2 nights tour which will be filled with excitement and fun. On 1st day, we will pick you up in the morning around 6 or 8 am. We will start our day first by visiting Birla Mandir in Delhi, also known as LakshmiNarayan temple. After that, we will have darshan in Bangla Sahib Gurudwara and will have prasad from there. Moving forward, we will visit some places in Old Delhi such as Chandni Chowk, a crowded area with amazing food and other things. Then, we will go to Jama Masjid, the largest Muslim Mosque in India and will have butter chicken there or Shahi Tukda to feel the authentic Muslim cuisine. Afterwards, we will visit Red Fort, a large building made of red sandstone and represents the capital of India. After that, we will visit RajGhat where lies the memories of Mahatma Gandhi who used to live there. During the evening, we will refresh for a bit as we visit India Gate, a tall tower built in the memories of soldiers died in World War 1. Then, we will go to Rashtrapati Bhawan, President House where all the laws and constitutions discussions are held. Lastly, we will go to Humayun Tomb which is the tomb of famous Mughal emperor Humayun. As the day ends, we will get back to the hotel and stay for the night. On 2nd day, we will check out from the hotel and have breakfast and move towards visitation to some more places in Delhi. First, we will visit Bangla Sahib and then India Gate and later we will go to Akshar Dham. It is a Hindu temple that comprises of mixture of modern and ancient Hindu culture, architect and spirituality. Then, we will set our journey to Agra and will enjoy the roadside food. As we reach Agra, we will check in to the hotel and stay for the night there. On 3rd day, we will leave from the hotel to visit the local attractions in Agra. Firstly, we will go to Taj Mahal and enjoy the sunrise there. It is one of the best attractions in Agra and famous for the 'true love' as Shah Jahan built this for his love. It is beautifully built with white marble and accepted as the Symbol of Love. We will enjoy the mesmerizing mausoleum and appealing carved interior. Then, we will go to some other local attractions such as Agra Fort, Mehtab Bagh. We will get back to the hotel and have some rest there. After a while, we leave the hotel and visit Itimad Ud Daulah, a mini Taj which is similar to the Taj Mahal. Then, we will set our journey back to Delhi and have dinner en route.

Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 1: Old & New Delhi Highlights: Overnight in Delhi

    You will be picked up from your desired location in the morning from the urban city area within Delhi) and proceed to visit Old & New Delhi Sightseen.

    • Birla Mandir (Colourful  Lakshmi Narayan Temple in  Delhi),
    • Gurudwara Bangla Sahib (Gurudwara of Sikh's Eight Guru Har Kishan ),
    • Jama Masjid (largest Muslim Mosque in India),
    • Red Fort (it represents Delhi),
    • Rajghat (Mahatma Gandhi's Memorial),
    • India Gate (A War Memorial ),
    • Rashtrapati Bhawan,
    • President House,
    • Humayun's Tomb (Tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun),
    • Lotus temple (Bahai House of Worships),
    • Qutub Minar (Delhi's tallest Minaret).

    After a busy day sightseeing, we drop back to you at your hotel, relaxed a day in the Capital of India-Delhi.

     

    Day 2: Delhi to Agra: Overnight in Agra

    After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Agra by using the Yamuna Express highway, upon arrival check-in in the hotel and after some rest proceed to visit-

    • Agra Fort (Lal Qilla), the royal abode of the Mughal Rulers,
    • Do some shopping(as per your interest) at Sadar Bazaar and do not forget to Purchase delicious "Agra ka Pethas",
    • In the evening, visit Itimad-Ud-Daulah (Baby Taj),
    • Mehtab bagh (The Moonlight Garden) and experience the sunset from the rear end of the Taj Mahal.

    After a wonderful day, returns to the hotel and relax in Agra Hotel.

     

    Day 3: Visit Taj Mahal-Symbol of Love and return to Delhi: Trip Completed

    Early morning at sunrise approx nearly 6 am proceeds to visit the ultimately crowned jewel of India's architectural heritage-Taj Mahal, the greatest architectural wonder in the country and widely accepted as "The Symbol Of Love". Explore the magnificence of the awe-inspiring mausoleum and marvel at the intricately carved interiors of the structure.

    • 'The Taj Mahal'- one of the 7 wonders of the world and become a victim of incredibly celebrated,

    Once you feel contentment, return to the hotel, Freshen up at the hotel, have your breakfast and check-out. And start the drive back to Delhi and drop you at your desired location within the urban city of Delhi.

Important Notes

  • Taj Mahal closed on every Friday.
  • Please use your time during the tour carefully and set your preferences accordingly. GetMeCab and our Vendor/Driver will not be held responsible for any delay due to traffic-jams/rush/unpredictable situations and no compensation in these cases will be considered.
  • All Museum, Red Fort, & Swami Narayan Akshardham Temple closed in every Monday in Delhi.
  • The Driver Day would take care of his food and Stay.
  • Vehicle not allowed to Driven on unpaved roads.
