Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Delhi to Haridwar: Overnight in Haridwar
You shall be picked up the morning from the urban city limits of Delhi and drive towards Haridwar. You shall reach Haridwar and check-in at the hotel for taking some rest. Later you shall leave for local sightseeing of Haridwar
Finally, stay overnight at the Haridwar hotel.
Day 2: Haridwar to Guptkashi: Overnight in Guptkashi
Leave early morning to visit Guptkashi via Rudraprayag & Devprayag. Guptkashi, located at an elevation of 4,327 feet in the Kedar-khanda. En-route, you can see the beautiful river Mandakini at Tilwara. The Mandakini River flows down from Kedarnath, drive alongside the river to reach Guptakashi, visit Ardh Narishwar Temple in Guptakashi. Next, return to the hotel at Guptakashi, have your dinner and spend a leisurely evening at the hotel.
Day 3: Guptkashi to Kedarnath Dham Darshan: Overnight in Guptkashi
You should have your breakfast early and drive to Gaurikund. Start your trek from Gaurikund to Kedarnath (by Pony / Doli / Helicopter at your own cost). Visit Kedarnath Temple. The Kedarnath shrine, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, is a scenic spot situated, against the backdrop of the majestic Kedarnath range. Kedar is another name of Lord Shiva. After temple Darshan, trek down to Gaurikund. Later, drive to Guptkashi. Have an overnight stay at Guptakashi.
Day 4: Guptkashi to Badrinath Dham: Overnight in Badrinath Dham
Leave early morning to explore Badrinath, one of the "Ancient Four Dhams" is among the most celebrated pilgrimage spots of the country and is situated at an elevation of 3,133 meters. Pilgrims, after having a bath in the Taptkund, have the Darshan of Badrivishal and Aarti in the evening. Brahma Kapal is significant for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). There is another interesting sightseeing, spot like Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund and the "Mukh" of the Saraswati River
Day 5: Badrinath Dham to Rudraprayag: Overnight in Rudraprayag
In the morning after breakfast, drive for Rudraprayag via Joshimath. Of the four "Maths" established by Adi Shankaracharya, Joshimath is the winter seat of Badrinath. Visit on the way Narsingh Temple in Joshimath later drive back to Rudraprayag via Joshimath. Check into the hotel after arrival at Rudraprayag. Rudraprayag is one of the Panch Prayag (five confluences) of the Alaknanda River. It is a confluence of rivers Alaknanda and Mandakini. You shall return to your hotel, have your dinner and relax.
Day 6: Rudraprayag to Rishikesh: Overnight in Rishikesh
Have your breakfast and check-out from the hotel in the morning to depart towards Haridwar via Rishikesh, "The place of sages", is a celebrated spiritual town on the bank of Ganga and is surrounded by Shivalik range of the Himalayas on three sides. Check in to the hotel. Later visit local temples in Rishikesh and visit - Laxman Jhulla, Ram Jhulla. Transfer to Haridwar and overnight stay at Rishikesh.
Day 7: Rishikesh to Delhi: Trip Completed
In the morning, after breakfast, you shall proceed to visit Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, Triveni Ghat and later drive towards Delhi and take a drop anywhere within urban city limits and bid us GoodBye!
