Mubarak Mandi Palace

The oldest building of the Mubarak Mandi Palace Complex dates back to 1824. However, the construction of all the buildings was rounded up about 150 years ago. One of its most spectacular segment, The Sheesh Mahal or The Pink Hall houses the Dogra Art Museum which has several miniature paintings and Emperor Shah Jahan's golden bow and arrow, among other interesting things. The Mubarak Mandi Palace is open to visitors from half past ten in the morning to half past four in the evening during the Winter Season. In the Summer Season, it is open from 8'o clock in the morning to half past one in the afternoon. Any visitor will surely enjoy a visit to this palace not only for the museum's rich collection but also because it gives them a chance witness the remarkable blend of different architectural features that are so magnificently manifested in the buildings.

Mansar Lake

Mansar Lake is found 62 km from Jammu which is a lake bordered by backwoods secured slopes, over a mile long considerably a mile in width. Other than being a well-known outing goal in Jammu, it is additionally a heavenly site, sharing the legend and sacredness of Lake Mansaro. Mansar Lake is also home to two temples, Umapati Mahadev & Narasimha and temple of Durga apart from many others which are regularly visited by the devotees. Raghunath Temple

Situated in the heart of the city and surrounded by a group of other temples, this temple dedicated to Lord Rama is outstanding and unique in Northern India. A mere glance at the temple will give the onlooker an idea of the influence of the Mughal style of architecture on the temple. However, the tower that can be found over the main shrine is said to be built in the Sikh architectural style. The Raghunath Temple comprises a complex of seven Hindu shrines. The magnificent temple also has seven shikharas or spires, where each shrine has its separate shikhara. The paintings in the fifteen panels of the main shrine are exceptionally stunning and are Ramayana, Mahabharata, and Bhagavad Gita oriented.

Shivkhori

Shivkhori, a divine shrine of an avatar of Lord Shiva, is located in the lap of nature in the form of a cave on a hillock in Udhampur district in India's own Heaven on Earth, Jammu and Kashmir. The 4-foot lingam was formed naturally in a cave. This self-manifested lingam of Lord Shiva is also known as Swayambhu and is of great importance in Hindu religion. Devotees of Lord Shiva from all over the world visit the cave to offer their sincere prayers. The journey to the cave-shrine requires trekking over 3 kilometres of the route through the stunning mountains covered with lush greenery. The cave consists of naturally formed shapes or impressions that look like Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati, Lord Ganesh, Nandi, Kartikeya, and Sheshnag.

Nandini Wildlife Sanctuary

Known for a large population of Pheasants, this wildlife sanctuary, just a little away from Jammu, is home to an abundance of fauna, especially birds. While here, one can spot countless Pheasants, Indian mynah, Blue Rock Pigeon, Indian Peafowl, Red Junglefowl, and Chakor. Also found here are Leopards, Grey Langurs, Rhesus Monkey, Boars and more.
