Cab Booking, Modification, Cancellation, and Payment Policy

Cab Booking Policy | One Way, Round Trip & Local Taxi Service

While booking your online cab service in India through GetMeCab.com , including one-way taxi booking , round trip cab service , outstation cab booking , airport taxi transfer , Local taxi transfer , the following terms and conditions apply:

  1. You can book your outstation cab or local taxi service up to 180 days in advance. The minimum time required for online taxi booking is 3 hours before the trip.
  2. Book your cheap one-way cab or intercity taxi service via our website www.GetMeCab.com , mobile app, call us at +91 9015154545, or WhatsApp at +91 8010320000.
  3. To confirm your cab booking online, an advance payment is required. This advance is calculated based on the estimated taxi fare and adjusted in the final bill.
  4. You can also place a cab booking request without advance payment; however, confirmation depends on approval from GetMeCab.
  5. For confirmed bookings, a vehicle is assigned at least 8 hours prior to the trip (2 hours for one-way outstation cab). You will receive driver details via SMS/email.
  6. Customers must carry a booking confirmation SMS or voucher for verification during the trip.

Important Note:

  • In case of a vehicle breakdown or accident, we will arrange an alternative cab service or refund the advance amount if canceled. GetMeCab does not guarantee compensation for any indirect losses.
  • In case of a no-show or failure to inform about schedule changes, the advance amount for taxi booking will be forfeited.
  • If the driver fails to report, we will provide a replacement vehicle or process a full refund.

Cab Booking Modification Policy | Date & Time Changes

  1. You can modify your cab booking (prepone/postpone) without any extra charges up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup.
  2. Modification requests can be made via call at +91 9015154545, WhatsApp at 8010320000, or email at info@getmecab.com .
  3. Changes during the trip are subject to availability and handled at GetMeCab’s discretion.

Cab Fare Payment Policy | Advance & Final Payment

  1. After advance payment, the remaining cab fare is paid directly to the driver during or after the trip.
  2. The final amount includes total trip cost minus advance. Cash payment is preferred for taxi services.
  3. If the final bill is lower than the advance amount, the excess will be refunded within 5–7 working days.

Cab Cancellation & Refund Policy

  1. Cancellation requests for cab bookings must be made via call, WhatsApp, or email at info@getmecab.com.
  2. 100% refund on advance if canceled 24+ hours before pickup.
  3. No refund if canceled within 24 hours of the trip start time.
  4. Full refund is provided if cancellation is initiated by GetMeCab.

Refund Processing Time for Cab Booking

  1. Eligible refunds for online cab booking are processed within 5–7 business days via the original payment method. Requests via SMS/WhatsApp are not accepted.
