Kamla Nehru Park

Kamla Nehru Park is the oldest park in Indore. It can be reached easily via Bhawarkua and Palasia via Agra-Bombay National Highway. Commonly known as Chidiya Ghar, it is a home to a variety of the special animal species like White Tigress, amphibians, birds, and also many omnivores and carnivores. The park also provides elephant, camel and pony rides especially to kids. There is also a toy train and a pool for recreational activities.

Shri Omkar Jyotirlinga

Located at the banks of river Ganga at a hill top Shri Omkar Jyotirlinga is one of the dwadash Jyotirlingas which attracts thousands of visitors almost throughout the year. They have pandals setup to accommodate the large amount of tourists that visit the place. It has a cave which is believed to be the place where Adi Shankara met his guru, Gowdapadha. It is a must visit place for a divine experience.

Rajwada Indore

Rajwada is the legacy left behind by the Holkar dynasty which used to be there abode. It has been turned into a museum which is open for visitors every day except Mondays. If you are a foodie, this is a must visit place for you as once the sun sets, the street food stalls barge in huge numbers. You will find an extremely large variety of food and sweets here and the place gets highly crowded.

Kanch Mandir

This is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and is situated in the heart of Indore. The interior of the temple is completely made out of glass which gives a great look from within. Photography is prohibited inside the temple. It receives devotees in huge numbers especially in the season of Saavan. It is one of the oldest religious places.

Lal Bagh Palace

Unlike other historical heritages in Indore, Lal Bagh palace is actually well maintained. Once inside you will literally feel the royal ambience surrounding you. The ceiling is done in European style and the walls are decorated with beautiful paintings. The old and royal furniture and lamps depict the pomp and grandeur of the Royals.
