Day Wise Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Haridwar to Barkot: Overnight in Barkot
You shall be picked up from your desired location within the urban city limits of Haridwar and proceed towards Barkot via Mussoorie. Barkot is a small town situated on the banks of the Yamuna River. It is one of the most popular destinations for holidaying and experiencing realm adventure. On the way, you will visit Kempty Fall. Next, on arrival check-in at the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay, have your dinner, and spend a leisurely evening at the hotel.
Day 2: Barkot to Yamunotri Dham Darshan and return to Barkot: Overnight in Barkot
You will have your breakfast early morning and drive to Janki Chatti. Now you will start trekking to Yamunotri, which is about 6 km distance by pony or walk. Yamunotri is located at a height of 3,293 meters in the Garhwal Himalayas. It is one of the four sites in India's Chhota Char Dham pilgrimage and the source of the Yamuna River. Visit Yamunotri Temple, which is also famously known as the seat of Goddess Yamuna
After temple Darshan, take down to Janki Chatti. Later, drive to BarkotDay 3: Barkot to Uttarkashi: Overnight in Uttarkashi
The morning drive to Uttarkashi, which is about 82 km away, is situated on the banks of the Bhagirathi River at a height of 1352 m above sea level. The place is known for housing many temples and ashrams. The evening is free for visiting Kashi Vishwanath Temple & Shakti Temple. Next, return to the hotel, have your dinner and spend a leisurely evening at the hotel.
Day 4: Uttarkashi to Gangotri Dham Darshan and return to Uttarkashi: Overnight in Uttarkashi
After breakfast, you shall proceed towards Gangotri Jee and visit picturesque Harsil village en route. Also, you shall pass through the Bhagirathi River and have the most magnificent view of the Himalayas. After Gangotri Jee Darshan, you shall be driven back to Uttarkashi. Finally, stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi: Overnight in Guptkashi
Leave early morning to visit Guptkashi via Rudraprayag & Devprayag. Guptkashi, located at an elevation of 4,327 feet in the Kedar-khanda. En route, you can see the beautiful river Mandakini at Tilwara. The Mandakini River flows down from Kedarnath, drive alongside the river to reach Guptakashi, visit Ardh Narishwar Temple in Guptakashi. Next, return to the hotel at Guptakashi, have your dinner and spend a leisurely evening at the hotel.
Day 6: Guptkashi to Kedarnath Dham: Overnight in Kedarnath Dham
You should have your breakfast early and drive to Gaurikund. Start your trek from Gaurikund to Kedarnath (by Pony / Doli / Helicopter at your own cost). Visit Kedarnath Temple. The Kedarnath shrine, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, is a scenic spot situated, against the backdrop of the majestic Kedarnath range. Kedar is another name of Lord Shiva. Day 7: Kedarnath Dham to Guptkashi: Overnight in Guptkashi
Early morning again had Darshan of Kedarnath Temple and later trek down to Gaurikund. where you meet the driver he drives to Guptkashi. Have an overnight stay at Guptakashi.
Day 8: Guptkashi to Joshimath: Overnight in Joshimath
In the morning after breakfast, drive for Joshimath via Rudraprayag. Of the four "Maths" established by Adi Shankaracharya, Joshimath is the winter seat of Badrinath. Visit on the way Narsingh Temple in Joshimath later drive back to Rudraprayag via Joshimath. Check into the hotel after arrival at Rudraprayag. Rudraprayag is one of the Panch Prayag (five confluences) of the Alaknanda River. It is a confluence of rivers Alaknanda and Mandakini. You shall return to your hotel, have your dinner and relax.
Day 9: Joshimath to Badrinath Dham: Overnight in Badrinath Dham
Leave early morning to explore Badrinath, one of the "Ancient Four Dhams" which is among the most celebrated pilgrimage spots of the country and is situated at an elevation of 3,133 meters. Pilgrims, after having a bath in the Taptkund, have the Darshan of Badrivishal and Aarti in the evening. Brahma Kapal is significant for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). There is another interesting sightseeing, spot like Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund, and the "Mukh" of the Saraswati River.
Day 10: Badrinath Dham to Haridwar: Trip Completed
In the morning after breakfast drive back to Haridwar on the way to visit Srinagar and later upon arrival in Haridwar drop you at the Urban city limit area. The trip is completed here with memorable memories
