  • Day 1: Delhi to Amritsar & become a victim of Wagha Border: Overnight in Amritsar

    Pick up from your desired location within (Delhi the urban city limit) and Proceed to Amritsar and upon arrival check-in in the hotel and after some rest proceed to visit-

    • India Gate,
    • Wagha Border Flag Down Ceremony.

    Later, return to the hotel and relax a day in Amritsar hotel.

     

    Day 2: Amritsar sightseeing & Drive to Chandigarh: Overnight in Chandigarh

    After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to visit World Famous monuments in Amritsar

    • Golden Temple-Harminder Sahib,
    • Central Sikh Museum,
    • Jallianwalan Bagh,
    • Walk-in Old Heritage City-Amritsar
    • Maharana Ranjit Singh Museum,

    Later, drive to Chandigarh and transfer to hotel and relax a day.

     

    Day 3: Chandigarh Sightseeing and drive to Delhi: Trip completed

    After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Visit-

    • Rock Garden-immense creative heritage. This is a huge complex that is built using domestic and industrial waste and throws away items.
    • Sukhna Lake. This lake complex offers various entertaining options including boating, Shikara ride, watch Le Corbusier's sketches, food area, souvenir shop, camel ride, and much more
    • The Zakir Hussain Rose Garden is a botanical garden spread across over 30 acres of land featuring flowers of more than 1600 different species.
    • Take a stroll in some of the famous markets of the city Market 17 and Market 22

     

    Once you have done Chandigarh, drive back to Delhi and we will drop you at your desired location within (Delhi).

Package Details

We can get away with GetMeCab to make your stress melt away with the three days and two nights tour package from Delhi to Chandigarh and Amritsar. We will start our journey as we pick you up from Delhi at your desired location at around six or 8 AM. We will set our journey towards Amritsar first. Amritsar is the second largest city of Punjab state and it is one of the best place to visit history of Sikh religion. There are plenty of tourist attractions in Amritsar that we will enjoy. As we reach Amritsar, we will check into the hotel and relax for sometime after we explore the famous city. First we will visit the local market of Amritsar and will test their local cuisine. As the day ends, we will get back to the hotel and stay for the night. On second day, we will check out from the hotel and visit beautiful Harmandir Sahib which is also popularly known as the Golden Temple. This is the largest and the most holiest place of Sikh religion. This temple is covered with 500 KG of gold plate. After that we will visit Jallianwala Bagh, which is famous for the memory of those who died in the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. This place has plenty of museums, gallery and number of memorial structures. After this we will go to Durgiana Hindu temple. After spending some time there, we proceed towards attending the ceremony at Wagah border. Wagah border marks the territory of India and Pakistan. In the ceremony, the flags of India and Pakistan all the lowered. After that, We will have some food at the local market and get back to the hotel and stay for the night. And third day we will check out from the hotel after breakfast and set our journey towards Chandigarh, the city beautiful. As we reach Chandigarh, we will visit rock Garden which is a sculpture garden in Chandigarh and all the things there are made from waste. After that we will go to Rose Garden, which is famous for around 500 types of different roses present there. Moving forward, we will also visit the local market of sector 17 which is a hub. As the day ends we will get back to Delhi and have dinner and en route. We will drop you off at your desired location as you reach Delhi with full of memories.
