Day Wise Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 1: Delhi to Jaipur and half-day sightseeing: Overnight in Jaipur

    Pick up from your desired location within (Delhi the urban city limit) and Proceed to Jaipur and upon arrival check-in in the hotel and after some rest proceed to visit Jaipur-

    • Start with visiting the famous Hawa Mahal (aka The Palace of the Breeze) which is a high screen wall, originally built so the women of Royal household could observe the festivals on the streets while unseen from the outside,
    • City Palace Complex - houses the Chandra Mahal palace and Mubarak Mahal palace among other buildings,
    • The Jantar Mantar is a collection of nineteen architectural astronomical instruments built by the Kachwaha Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh II,
    • Albert Hall,
    • Birla Temple
    • An evening enjoys exploring Chowki Dhani-Enjoy culture of the village and their activity and had traditional dinner(which including the entrance ticket-on direct cost).

    Later, return to the hotel and relax a day in Jaipur hotel.

     

    Day 2: Jaipur Sightseeing and drive to Pushkar via Ajmer: Overnight in Pushkar

    After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to visit rest of Jaipur

    • Amer Fort. Constructed by Raja Man Singh in 1592, Amer Fort is the most famed fort and the oldest structure in Rajasthan,
    • Jal Mahal(Also known as Water Palace)-it's Situated in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake,
    • Jaigarh Fort- is situated on the promontory called the Cheel ka Teela (Hill of Eagles) of the Aravalli range,

    After lunch proceed to Pushkar via visiting Ajmer-

    • Dargah Sharif or Ajmer Sharif is a Sufi shrine of the revered Sufi saint, Moinuddin Chishti, located at Ajmer
    • Jain Temple-also known as Soniji Ki Nasiyan is an architecturally rich Jain temple. It was built in the late nineteenth century.
    • Ana Sagar Lake is an artificial lake

    later drive to Pushkar and check-in in the hotel and rest a day in Pushkar Hotel.

     

    Day 3: Pushkar Sightseeing and drive back to Delhi: Trip completed

    Early morning proceed to enjoy a beautiful sun-rise at

    • Mata Savitri Devi Temple-The First Consort of Lord Brahma, Hilltop Hindu temple offering sweeping lake & valley views via cablecar or trekking ascents,
    • Brahma Temple-The temple is one of the very few existing temples dedicated to Hindu creator-god Brahma in India and remains the most prominent among them. Structured in the 14th Century,
    • Mata Savitri Devi Temple-The First Consort of Lord Brahma, Hilltop Hindu temple offering sweeping lake & valley views via cablecar or trekking ascents,
    • Pushkar Lake/Sarovar is a sacred lake of the Hindus,
    • Sikh Gurudwara,
    • Walk in the old city market and also can enjoy a beautiful sunset on the bank of Pushkar Lake.

    After visit return to the hotel, Check out and drive back to Delhi and have dinner en-route(if required) and later transfer to you in the desired location.

Package Details

GetMeCab provides a weekend getaway tour to Jaipur and Pushkar from Delhi. On 1st day, we will pick you up in the morning arounf 6 or 8 am and move towards Jaipur. We will have breakfast en route and as we reach Jaipur, we will check in to the hotel and stay for a while to freshen up. After some time, we will move towards Jal Mahal, situated in the middle of Man Sagar Lake and then to Jantar Mantar, a place full of astronomy elements and cosmic movements. It lies the study of planets and space. After that, we will visit Hawa Mahal, famous for its 593 Jharokhas or windows that helps in air circulation. The place is always windy. Then, we will visit Chowki Dhani which gives the perfect example of Rajasthani culture and religion. Afterwards we will get back to the hotel and stay for the night. On 2nd day, we will check out from the hotel and will visit Amer Fort that is located on a hill nearly 11 km away from Jaipur. Moving towards, we will go to Jal Mahal also known as Water Palace and then to Galta Ji temple that is also known as Monkey temple. It is basically a home for monkeys. Afterwards, we will set our journey to Ajmer and as we reach there, we will check in to the hotel and relax for a while. After some time, we will visit Ajmer Dargah Sharif where lies the tomb of a Sufi Saint. As the day ends, we will get back to the hotel and stay for the night. On 3rd day, we will check out from the hotel after breakfast and will move towards Pushkar. Pushkar is nearly 10 km away from Ajmer and it has hundreds of temples. It is the oldest city in India and its originality makes it the most favoured destination of India. We will then visit Pushkar Lake, the most sacred and holiest Lake in India with 52 western ghats. After that, we will go to Brahma temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Brahma and then will enjoy the old city market. As the day ends, we will have lunch in Pushkar and set our journey back to Delhi and will have dinner en route. We will drop you off at your desired location with plenty of memories.
